Rehabilitation & Gait Training

Physiotherapy-guided walking training, balance work and strength programmes so your device becomes part of you.

Rehabilitation & Gait Training at OrthoPro Artificial Limbs Center

A prosthetic leg or a brace only delivers results when your body learns to use it. That learning happens in rehabilitation — and it's the part of care most clinics skip.

Our in-clinic rehabilitation area has parallel bars, walking tracks, stairs, ramps and uneven-terrain practice surfaces. Under physiotherapist supervision, you progress through a structured programme: stump care and stretching → standing balance → weight shifting → step-through walking → stair and ramp negotiation → outdoor skills like slopes and uneven ground.

We track your progress objectively: walking distance, speed, symmetry and confidence score at every visit. Upper-limb users get task-specific training — lifting, gripping, eating, dressing and work-specific movements.

For patients recovering from stroke or injury with orthoses, we focus on gait re-education, fall prevention and progressive strength building. Home exercise plans are provided in print and video so progress continues between visits.
